Lots of people have been liking my “Castaway” twiddle, so it’s obvious I should keep on writing. I’m working on expanding the twiddle to a proper story. It’s just supposed to be a small character sketch that I can base a potentially roleplay on, but it seems that there are those who really like it, so yes, I am going to expand it.
Maybe, with permission, I’ll also be able to post blurbs of what I call “Speckles,” but that’s up to Spitfire.
I’m busy getting read for SLB15. Yes, Second Life’s 15th Anniversary party. I am one of the first Sunday’s set of performers, so that means I can spend the rest of the event relaxing and enjoying it. The head of SLB15 has been wonderful in helping coordinating all the DJs and all the other little bits of insanity going on.
I’ll get my streaming info tomorrow and, hopefully, can test it once before I go on. *crosses fingers* I don’t like using streams I’ve never tested before I start go on. I like being able to test them when there’s no one supposed to be on them to make sure everything works.
I also got asked to do some djing for another event, and for a specific merchant for SLB15. Due to a conflict of times, I can’t do anything other than what I am currently doing for SLB15, because, between end of school with my kids, and my normally scheduled sets, AND the three other special events other than SLB15, I had to say no.
The other event is still a possibility, but it’s not for a month or more.
“Crazy Canuck” – call a Canadian that, and it’s a point of pride. I don’t know how many of our countrymen have been called that for doing crazy stunts that somehow succeeded.
So, I’m a Crazy Canuck like the rest of them, except I shine in music.

So, time for me to turn my back on my detractors who don’t know what they are saying, and carry one, head held high, and ever forward. After all, Winston Churchill said “you have enemies? Good. It means you’ve stood up for something in life.”
I stood up for something I believed in, and I will keep on standing up for it, no matter how many times I get punched down.
Today was my real life birthday. Doesn’t matter how old I am, I’ve survived another ride around this star we call Sol, much to the chagrin of the bullies who have made my life hell.
Being told that I have to prove my loyalty by getting rid of so and so, or doing such and such, or getting my arse handed to me for not doing the above, or getting yelled at with multiple expletitives over something I didn’t do, truly annoys me, as I believe it annoys anyone else.
Every year that I’m still alive, I know they who have tried to get me to submit to their will through coercion and force seethe in hate. It means their bullying and more hasn’t stopped me. I still live. I still breathe. They can’t stop me, no matter how hard they have tried. I still live.
After all, the best revenge is to not only live, but to live well.
